Coffee BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
½ sweet onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
⅓ cup white or apple cider vinegar
⅓ cup dark brown sugar or honey
¼ cup Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
2 tablespoons mustard
1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pinch of salt

 

Directions:

  • In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion in olive oil. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well, making sure the coffee flour completely dissolves.
  • Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 25 to 30 minutes. Mix frequently and avoid letting it boil. Do a taste test just before removing the sauce from the heat. If necessary, add more sweetener or vinegar, depending on your preference. Serve as a dip or marinade.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk of choice
½ cup yogurt of choice
1 banana, sliced and frozen
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
½ to 1 tablespoon Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

 

Directions:

  • In a blender, combine milk, yogurt, frozen banana slices, vanilla, honey, coffee flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and top off with a sprinkling of cinnamon.

Coffee Frozen Yogurt Bark

Ingredients:

10 to 12 ounces yogurt of choice
¼ cup coconut flakes
⅔ cup chopped fruit
1 to 2 tablespoons Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the fruit. Mix well.
  • Pour into a metal baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the chopped fruit on top, and garnish with more coconut flakes and coffee flour, if desired.
  • Freeze for at least 1 hour or until completely frozen. Break into pieces, and store in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy.

Baked Coffee Banana Doughnuts

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
½ plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¼ cup organic cane sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 egg
2 tablespoons strong black coffee
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons olive oil
Butter or coconut oil for greasing
½ cup walnuts or chocolate chips, optional

 

Directions:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, sift the coffee flour and all-purpose flour together. Repeat 2 to 3 times to make sure the flours are evenly combined.
  • Add the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the mashed bananas, egg, black coffee, vanilla extract, and olive oil. Stir until combined. Slowly add to the dry ingredients, mixing frequently. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if you’d like.
  • Scoop the batter into a greased doughnut pan, filling up ¾ of each cavity. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

½ cup coconut flakes
½ cup uncooked oats
¼ cup flax seeds
½ cup nut or seed butter
¼ cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour

 

Directions:

  • In a food processor or blender, combine the coconut flakes, oats, and flax seeds. Pulse until crushed into a chunky powder.
  • Mix with nut or seed butter, honey, cinnamon, and coffee flour. You can adjust the ingredients according to your preference.
  • Once thoroughly combined, roll into small golf-sized balls. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon.

Coffee Chickpea Cookie Dough

Ingredients:

1 15-ounce can chickpeas
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup nut or seed butter
3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Nature's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
1 tablespoon strong black coffee
½ cup chocolate chips

 

Directions:

  • Drain and rinse chickpeas. Pat dry with a paper towel, removing as many skins as possible. This will help reduce graininess.
  • In a high-speed food processor, blend all the ingredients except the chocolate chips. Scrape down the sides every now and then.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips. Serve chilled.
