Coffee BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
½ sweet onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup white or apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup dark brown sugar or honey
¼ cup Natur's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
2 tablespoons mustard
1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pinch of salt

 

Directions:

  • In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion in olive oil. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well, making sure the coffee flour completely dissolves.
  • Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 25 to 30 minutes. Mix frequently and avoid letting it boil. Do a taste test just before removing the sauce from the heat. If necessary, add more sweetener or vinegar, depending on your preference. Serve as a dip or marinade.

Coffee Cinnamon Bun Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup milk of choice
½ cup yogurt of choice
1 banana, sliced and frozen
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
½ to 1 tablespoon Natur's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

 

Directions:

  • In a blender, combine milk, yogurt, frozen banana slices, vanilla, honey, coffee flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and top off with a sprinkling of cinnamon.

Coffee Frozen Yogurt Bark

Ingredients:

10 to 12 ounces yogurt of choice
¼ cup coconut flakes
2/3 cup chopped fruit
1 to 2 tablespoons Natur's Earthly ChoiceCoffee Flour
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the fruit. Mix well.
  • Pour into a metal baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the chopped fruit on top, and garnish with more coconut flakes and coffee flour, if desired.
  • Freeze for at least 1 hour or until completely frozen. Break into pieces, and store in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy.
