Egg Replacement
Title

Directions:

For 1 egg, grind 1 tablespoon of Chia Seeds into a meal and mix with 3 tablespoons water. Allow to sit for 5 – 10 minutes or until it takes on a texture similar to raw egg yolk.

Berry Smoothie
Title

Serves Two

Ingredients:
3 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
½ Cup raspberries
½ Cup blackberries
1 banana, sliced
1 ½ Cups red cabbage, chopped
½ Cup red beets, chopped
½ Cup baby spinach
1 Cup almond milk
½ Cup ice

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Chia Seed Jam
Title

About 1 Cup

Ingredients:
3 Cups frozen raspberries
¼ Cup pure maple syrup, or to taste
2 Tbsp. Nature’s Earthly Choice Chia Seeds
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Add frozen raspberries and maple syrup into a medium pot and bring to a simmer. After 5 minutes or so, stir in the chia seeds. Continue to cook down the mixture for about 15 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Chill in the fridge for a couple hours to thicken it up even more.

Chia Fresca Drink

Serves One

Ingredients:
1 Cup coconut water
2 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1 Tbsp. Nature’s Earthly Choice Chia Seeds

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender or shake well in a closed container and let sit for 15 minutes for chia seeds to expand.

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding
Title

Serves One

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 teaspoon hazelnut flavor instant coffee powder (optional)
¼ Cup Nature’s Earthly Choice Chia Seeds
1 Cup milk
2 teaspoons honey, or to taste

Directions:

  • Mix cocoa powder, brown sugar, and instant coffee powder together in a bowl; stir until no lumps remain. Add chia seeds into the mixture. Pour milk into the bowl and stir to incorporate; let the mixture sit a few minutes before stirring again. Repeat resting and stirring a few times over the course of 20 minutes.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours to overnight.
  • Drizzle honey over the pudding to serve.
